Terms of Service

1Who we are

Cordane is operated by Sitedity SRL, a company registered in Romania (“Cordane,” “we,” “us”). “You” means the person or organization using Cordane. If you use Cordane on behalf of an organization, you confirm you’re authorized to accept these terms for it.

2Private beta

Cordane is currently offered as a private beta. Access is by invitation, features may change, break, or be removed, and availability is not guaranteed. We may add, modify, or discontinue parts of the service during the beta. We’ll try to give reasonable notice of significant changes, but we’re not obliged to.

3How Cordane works, and what you run

Cordane is two parts: a hub (a control plane you open in a browser) and workers (machines you own, where agents, dev servers, and your code run). You may self-host the hub or use our managed cloud, but in every case the workers are yours.

You are responsible for:

• The machines you enroll as workers, and their security, resources, and maintenance.
• The coding agents you choose to run, and any API keys or credentials you provide to them — these live on your workers.
• The code your agents produce or modify, and any actions taken on your systems.
• Complying with the terms of any third-party agents, models, or services you use through Cordane.

4Accounts

Cordane signs you in through GitHub. You’re responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your GitHub credentials secure. Tell us promptly at contact@cordane.ai if you suspect unauthorized use.

5Acceptable use

Don’t use Cordane to:

• Break the law, infringe others’ rights, or violate third-party terms.
• Attack, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service or others’ systems.
• Interfere with the hub’s operation, or use it to distribute malware or abusive content.
• Resell or provide the service to third parties except as expressly allowed.

6Your content and data

You keep all ownership of your code, repositories, and data. We claim no rights to them. Consistent with how Cordane is built, your source and secrets run only on the workers you own and do not pass through our servers — see the Privacy Policy. Your data is stored in a portable form (a SQLite database) that you can export.

7Fees and billing

Pricing is shown on our site. During the private beta, access may be free or invitation-based. When paid plans apply, subscriptions are billed in advance through our payment processor (acting as merchant of record), and fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We’ll give notice before price changes take effect. You can stop using a paid plan at the end of the current billing period.

8Third-party services

Cordane works with third-party services you choose — coding agents, AI model providers, GitHub, and others. We’re not responsible for those services, their availability, or their terms; your use of them is between you and them.

9Warranties & disclaimer

Cordane is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your requirements. This is especially true during the beta.

10Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cordane and Sitedity SRL will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the three months before the claim (or, if you paid nothing, to a nominal amount). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11Termination

You can stop using Cordane at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, or if we discontinue the service. On termination, your right to use the hub ends; because your data lives on your own workers and is exportable, you keep it. Sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability, governing law) survive termination.

12Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Romania will have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you other rights.

13Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Cordane evolves. When we make material changes, we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use Cordane after an update means you accept the revised terms.
