These terms govern your use of Cordane. By using Cordane, including self-hosting it, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.
The short version: Cordane is provided as-is. You run agents and code on machines you own, and you’re responsible for those machines, your API keys, and what your agents do. You keep ownership of your code and data — we don’t claim any rights to it. Be reasonable, don’t abuse the service, and either side can end the arrangement.
Cordane is operated by Sitedity SRL, a company registered in Romania (“Cordane,” “we,” “us”). “You” means the person or organization using Cordane. If you use Cordane on behalf of an organization, you confirm you’re authorized to accept these terms for it.
Cordane is offered in three forms: a free self-hosted Community tier, a paid self-hosted tier, and a managed cloud service. The software evolves: features may be added, changed, or removed, and we’ll give reasonable notice of significant changes to paid plans.
For self-hosted installations, you control when you update, and a version you have already deployed keeps working. Managed-cloud availability is not guaranteed to any particular level; we do not currently offer a contractual uptime commitment.
Managed-cloud capacity is finite. We may operate a waitlist and decline or defer new managed-cloud subscriptions when capacity requires it. This never affects self-hosting.
Cordane is two parts: a hub (a control plane you open in a browser) and workers (machines you own, where agents, dev servers, and your code run). You may self-host the hub or use our managed cloud, but in every case the workers are yours.
You are responsible for:
Cordane signs you in through GitHub. You’re responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your GitHub credentials secure. Tell us promptly at contact@cordane.ai if you suspect unauthorized use.
Don’t use Cordane to:
You keep all ownership of your code, repositories, and data. We claim no rights to them. Consistent with how Cordane is built, your source and secrets run only on the workers you own and do not pass through our servers — see the Privacy Policy. Your data is stored in a portable form (a SQLite database) that you can export.
Pricing is shown on our site. The Community tier is free and requires no payment details. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance through Polar, our payment processor, which acts as merchant of record and handles billing, invoicing, and applicable taxes.
Trials. Where a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before it ends.
Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from your billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. We do not charge a cancellation fee.
Refunds. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law, or at our discretion — if something on our side went wrong, write to contact@cordane.ai and we’ll sort it out. Statutory withdrawal rights for consumers in the EU/EEA are unaffected by this paragraph.
What happens after cancellation. A paid self-host license stops renewing; your hub keeps running and falls back to the free Community tier limits. A managed-cloud hub is suspended at the end of the paid period and its data is retained for a limited period before deletion — export anything you need before you cancel, or ask us and we’ll help.
We’ll give notice before price changes take effect.
Cordane works with third-party services you choose — coding agents, AI model providers, GitHub, and others. We’re not responsible for those services, their availability, or their terms; your use of them is between you and them.
Cordane is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your requirements. This is especially true during the beta.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cordane and Sitedity SRL will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the three months before the claim (or, if you paid nothing, to a nominal amount). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You can stop using Cordane at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, or if we discontinue the service. On termination, your right to use the hub ends; because your data lives on your own workers and is exportable, you keep it. Sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability, governing law) survive termination.
These terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Romania will have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you other rights.
We may update these terms as Cordane evolves. When we make material changes, we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use Cordane after an update means you accept the revised terms.
